Thermowells

Temperature Measurement

Being utilized to protect temperature sensors from harmful conditions, Thermowells are a means of faster replacement and/or repair of temperature sensors with plenty of temperature probes that can be accepted by RTDs, thermocouples and etc. A thermowell increases the life cycle of measurement insert through protection against process condition and maintains mechanical stability of measuring assemble. Depending on working pressure and flow rate, thermowell bodies can be manufactured by either machining a bar stock (normally for high pressure, high flow rate applications) or by using standard tubes sealed by welded caps (normally for low pressure, low flow rates, or vessels and tanks).

ERATECH group offers a variety of thermowells adaptable to diverse process conditions and difficult environments. ERATECH’s thermowell types of flanged and drilled bar stock are installed in many plants with full compliance with the requirements of industries.
